Good News Club®
Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes and just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.
As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

Christian Youth In Action®
A year-round program for teens who’ve completed 6th grade, college students, and young adults. It all starts at camp each summer. This is an opportunity to learn and put into practice effective teaching techniques and evangelistic tools used to reach children with the gospel of Christ. You will experience the thrill of being a soul winner as well as becoming a better messenger of God’s good news!
At this training school, you will receive materials to help you teach children wherever you go! Most of our trained campers serve in churches working with the children’s ministry, proclaim God’s truths in Good News Clubs in the public schools and also serve in training other teenagers throughout the state. Our small groups for studying, practicing, and actually doing the ministry provide you opportunities to partner and fellowship with teenagers from all over Washington!

5-Day Club
During the summer months, children gather in backyards, parks, and other locations for five consecutive days. While together, they get the opportunity to hear a Bible lesson and a missionary story as well as to a chance to participate in fun, exciting games, and activities. The Gospel is clearly presented each day in a 5-Day Club and many children receive Christ into their lives throughout the week. It is an amazing experience that brings the good news to those who receive it and joy to those who deliver it.
In the first three weeks of August, we held three 5-Day Clubs at local churches. Beside lots of fun, and great lessons, we got to see children come to Christ for salvation!

Tel-A-Story
Tel-A-Story® is a unique outreach and discipleship ministry that allows children to call over the phone and listen to a short story with a biblical message. At the end, the listener is given a gospel presentation if they choose to learn more.

Fair/Festival Ministry
CEF has a strong presence at many fairs and festivals across the state, where the children are invited to hear a brief presentation of the Gospel. Those that receive Christ are given Bibles or other helps to assist them in their spiritual growth. This is our largest outreach by far and many adults stop by to tell us about when they were young and heard the Gospel and the difference God made in their lives. We are always looking for prayer warriors, greeters, and teachers for these fairs. Youth Pastors, this is a great way to involve your youth group in ministry, with a low amount of planning, but eternal results! This would be a great training opportunity for those planning to go on short-term mission trips.
We need hands and hearts to continue to make this ministry a possibility!
This year we are serving at Longview’s “Go 4th” celebration. Find us at the “Kid’s Fest”, July 2-4, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for the gospel story told with face-painting!

Teaching Children Effectively
Teaching Children Effectively (TCE™) Level 1 is designed to offer a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching children. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the course provides the methods and procedures to lead children to Christ and immediately equips the believer to begin and sustain a ministry where they live. Student practicums are a vital part of the instructional procedure which makes TCE a refreshing way to train Christians in child evangelism.
